As a start-up company, the owners understood the importance of partnerships for a successful business and quickly aligned themselves with organizations and offices such as Senator Lindsey Graham’s Office, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, OneSpartanburg, SC Launch and Spartanburg Community College’s Spark Center as well as the College itself. The support of these, and others, has been a major contributing factor in propelling the company to success.
Strategic planning and goal setting have allowed the company to realize tremendous growth in just a few short years with the GTS team growing from two owners to a current team member count of seventeen. Today, GTS is the leading supplier of organ preservation solutions in North America. One of many goals the company pursues is to continue to propel South Carolina to become the human organ transplant research, development, and product commercialization epicenter of the United States. In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the company and the establishment and success of the Corporate Office in the Spartanburg Business Community, Global Transplant Solutions hosted a Ribbon Cutting/Open House Event on Thursday, July 21, 2022. More than fifty people, including friends and family, supporters from Organ Procurement Organizations, state, and local officials, and representatives from area business, industry, and education were in attendance.
