Growing Our Legacy
Year after year, Global Transplant Solutions celebrates our growing team and continues to live by our motto “Fostering The Mission.” To create an endearing legacy and expand the Ambassadorship of organ donation advocates, we recognize the importance of America’s youth to that plan.
This year, we were proud to sponsor a local group, the SiBots First Robotics Team #6962 from Chesnee, South Carolina. FIRST Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an after-school program with an emphasis on math and science. The culmination of this project is to build a robot to compete in regional FIRST events.
The SiBots team built their own autonomous robot, wired the electrical system, and wrote code to drive their robot in various competitions. The team traveled to Anderson and Charleston in South Carolina for competitions. In Charleston, the team placed 7th and also won the prestigious “Spirit Award.”
Team SiBots said, “Without the generous support from Global Transplant Solutions, we would not have been able to attend these events due to the costs of competing.” The team graciously thanked GTS for their donation and presented CEO John Bruens with a trophy for Sponsor of the Year.
